MOHRA KORVAIS AND ARIDHIS FOR 108 GROUP OF TALAS.

Mr.G.SILAMBARASAN (Born on 08-06-1991) S/o K.Gajendran, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. Has Achieved Mohra korvais and aridhis for 108 group of talas in video. The special features is, he mentioned the names of each of the 108 talas with their anga and set korvais and aridhis for each of these talas. Previously some musicians have set korvais in this 108 group talas, particularly for the “Simhanandhana” tala which is the one with the maximum number of 128 aksharas with 18 angas. Whereas in the 35 group of talas, the maximum number of anga will be only 4. As the anga of most of the talas exists in the 108 group of talas, is difficult to remember, they may not be utilised now a days in concerts. So to change that trend and popularise all the other complicated talas in the 108 group, he has taken this effort from the past 10 years and has presented in the form of a video. After seeing this video, the musicians and students will get confidence that they can play \"Thani Aavarthanam\" in all these type of complicated talas too. His main motive is to familiarise all these talas and pass it on to the next generation students. This achievement has been entered into Indiaan World Records on August 20th, 2020.
